THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION No.22471 of 2002 ORDER:

When the matter is taken up for hearing, it is noticed that the petitioner has attained the age of superannuation and he has filed this writ petition challenging the order, dated 28.05.1988, passed in I.D.No.461 of 1987 by the Additional Industrial Tribunalcum-Additional Labour Court, Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad (for short, 'Labour Court') wherein back wages and attendant benefits were denied to the petitioner.

2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner contended that the Labour Court while directing the respondents to reinstate the petitioner into service with continuity of service, has denied back wages and attendant benefits and the Labour Court ought to have granted back wages and attendant benefits to the petitioner. 3.

This Court, having considered the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, is of the considered view that the Labour Court has rightly passed the orders and when there is no illegality or irregularity has been pointed by the petitioner in the impugned order, it is difficult for this Court to interfere with the orders passed by the Labour Court. Therefore, there are no grounds in the writ petition and the same is liable to be dismissed. 3.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed. Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
