HON'BLE Dr. JUSTICE B. SIVA SANKARA RAO CRIMINAL PETITION No.4404 of 2014 ORDER :
This Criminal Petition is filed by the Petitioners/Accused Nos.1 to 9 under Section 482 Cr.P.C seeking to quash the proceedings in Crime No.3 of 2014 of Tandur Town Police Station, Ranga Reddy District registered for the offence punishable under Section 498-A I.P.C.
2) Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the 1st respondent-State represented by the Public Prosecutor before admission and before ordering notice to the 2nd respondent and perused the material on record.
3) A perusal of the F.I.R, filed at page No.13, allegations against all the petitioners that all of them harassed to meet additional dowry which is within four corners of Section 498-A of I.P.C, for which the crime was registered and thereby this Court finds no grounds even to admit the application under Section 482 Cr.P.C and hence, the petition is disposed of directing the police to complete the investigation and file final report under Section 173 Cr.P.C as early as possible as the Crime No.3 of 2014 pending for more than one year.
4) With the above observations, this criminal petition is disposed of. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions
