Vide the present petition, the petitioners seek direction thereby directing the respondents to de-notify/cancel the preliminary notifications issued vide Ref. C1/261/2015, dated 6.7.2015 and Roc.No.C1/264/2015, dated 6.7.2015 under Section 11(1) of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 (Act 30 of 2013).

2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Pleader for Land Acquisition (AP).

3. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that under Section 11(1) of the Act, notifications have been issued by the 2nd respondent and they submitted their objections. However, till date their objections have not been decided.

4. Learned Government Pleader submits that at present only the notifications have been issued for acquiring the lands, and as the petitioners have submitted their objections, further steps would be taken, in accordance with law, only after considering their objections.

5. In view of the submission made by the learned Government Pleader, the writ petition is dismissed as premature. No costs. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed. ________________________ SURESH KUMAR KAIT, J 11th Aug, 2016 ksm
