Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Pleader for Home (A.P.) appearing for the official respondents.

When the matter is taken up, written instructions, dated 23.02.2018, furnished by the Sub-Inspector of Police, S.Rayavaram Police Station, Visakhapatnam District are placed on record by the learned Government Pleader for Home. The said instructions to the extent of their relevance read as under:- "It is submitted that except registering the above criminal cases, the 5th respondent Sub Inspector of Police, S.Rayavaram Police Station, Visakhapatnam District never tried to dispossess the petitioners from their lands of an extent of Ac.8.00 cents in Sy.No.399, situated at Bangarammapalem, S.Rayavaram Mandal, Visakhapatnam District at any point of time.

The contention of the petitioners that on 22.12.2017 the 5th respondent threatened to withdraw the civil suit or else the 5th respondent will implicate the petitioners in false cases is incorrect and baseless. It is submitted that on the complaint of the petitioner No.1 Mylapalli Tata Rao dated 21.12.2017 a case was registered in Cr.No.29/2018 dated 22.02.2018 for the offences U/s.447, 506 r/w.34 IPC against the respondent No.11 and others. The investigation is under progress. The 5th respondent never threatened the petitioners to withdraw the civil suit or implicate the petitioners in false cases, hence denied.

It is incorrect to say that the 5th respondent along with respondents 3 & 4 revenue authorities together with

others came to the property of the petitioner on 7.2.2018 and threatened to vacate the land, hence denied. It is also incorrect to say that the respondent No.5 in collusion of respondents 3 and 4 tried to dispossess the petitioners from the said land."

Having regard to the above instructions and taking into consideration the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Pleader, this Court deems it appropriate to dispose of the present writ petition by placing on record the written instructions, dated 23.02.2018, furnished by the Sub-Inspector of Police, S.Rayavaram Police Station, Visakhapatnam District.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
