This Criminal Petition, under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, is filed by the petitioners/ A.1 to A.7, to quash the proceedings in Crime No.266 of 2017 on the file of Kurnool III Town Police Station, Kurnool District, registered for the offences under Sections 420, 379 read with 34 of I.P.C., Sections 3(1)(z)(c), 3(1)(v) of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners/ A.1 to A.7, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor representing the 1st respondentState and perused the record. 3 .
In the course of submissions, it is brought to the notice of this Court that two more reports were lodged with the police with regard to the allegations leveled in the instant crime. In one case, the police filed Final Report stating that no accusations were made out against the petitioners/ A.1 to A.7 and in another case, this Court stayed all the proceedings of that crime. It is also submitted before this Court that rooms were vacated and the articles were handed over in the year 2014 itself and that nothing is being left with the petitioners/ A.1 to A.7.

In the circumstances put forth before this Court, it is for the Investigating Officer to decide the accusations leveled against the petitioners/ A.1 to A.7. Having regard to the submissions made by both the sides, the Investigating Officer is directed to complete the
investigation and file Final Report before the Court concerned, without arresting the petitioners/ A.1 to A.7. 5 .
With the above direction, this Criminal Petition is disposed of. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this criminal petition shall stand closed.
