Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Revenue for respondents. 2.

The limited grievance of the petitioner is that on the endorsement made by Tahsildar and entries made in the online register, petitioner claimed to have preferred appeal. But so far, the appeal preferred against the entries made in the revenue records is not disposed of by the appellate authority. 3.

Learned counsel for petitioner points out that on 22.11.2018 the Tahsildar submitted his report in the appeal preferred by petitioner. Even thereafter, further steps are not taken by the Revenue Divisional Officer in disposing of the appeal preferred by petitioner and on account of long pendency of appeal grave prejudice is caused to the petitioner. 4.

Having regard to the issue involved in the writ petition, without expressing any opinion on merits and the contentions urged and defence that may be available to the opposite party in the appeal, pending before the Revenue Divisional Officer, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the Revenue Divisional Officer, to consider Appeal No.A/1109/2018 and pass appropriate orders, after affording due opportunity to all the parties and on due consideration of respective submissions, as warranted by law, within a period of two (2) months from the
