HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No. 41553 of 2016 ORDER:

1) Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, Government Pleader for Revenue and Government Pleader for Assignment. With consent of all the parties, the writ petition is heard at the admission stage itself.

2) The present writ petition came to be filed seeking issuance of writ of mandamus declaring the action of respondent Nos.2 and 3 in not taking follow-up action consequent on petitioner's representation dated 04.07.2016 for eviction of respondent Nos.6 and 7 from the house site granted to the father of the petitioner and to restore the land to the petitioner, as illegal and arbitrary. 3) Though various grounds are raised in the writ petition, learned counsel for the petitioner restricts his prayer seeking a direction to the respondents to consider his representation dated 04.07.2016, at an early date.

4) Government Pleader for Revenue submits that a direction may be given to dispose of the representation, in accordance with law.

5) Without going into the merits of the case and having regard to the submissions made, the present writ petition is disposed of, directing respondent No.2 to consider the representation dated 04.07.2016, if the same is still pending consideration, in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably,

within a period of eight (08) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. There shall be no order as to costs. 6) Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
