HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR WRIT PETITION Nos.7414 and 7428 of 2019 COMMON ORDER:
The grievance of the petitioners in these two cases is that the Tahsildar, Penuballi Mandal, Khammam District, is not issuing them new digital pattadar pass books in relation to their landholdings in Mandalapadu Village, Penuballi Mandal, Khammam District. Perusal of the record reflects that the petitioners in both these cases were issued regular pattadar pass books under the provisions of the Telangana Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 1971, in relation to their individual landholdings. Both the petitioners made representations to the Tahsildar concerned seeking issuance of the new digital pattadar pass books so as to avail the benefit of the Government's Rythu Bandhu scheme. The representations of the petitioner in Writ Petition No.7414 of 2019 are dated 09.7.2018 and 15.10.
2018 while the representation of the petitioner in Writ Petition No.7428 of 2019 is dated 22.12.2018. The petitioners complain of inaction on the part of the Tahsildar concerned despite receipt of their representations. It is not open to the Tahsildar, Penuballi Mandal, Khammam District, to remain somnolent upon the representations of the petitioners when their entitlement to avail the benefit of the Government's scheme depends upon issuance of the new digital pattadar pass books.
The Writ Petitions are accordingly disposed of directing the Tahsildar, Penuballi Mandal, Khammam District, to take appropriate action upon the petitioner's representations for issuance of new
SK, J WP.Nos.7414 & 7428 of 2019 Dt:07.6.2019 digital pattadar pass books in relation to their landholdings in Mandalapadu Village, Penuballi Mandal, Khammam District, keeping in mind the fact that they have already been issued regular pattadar pass books. This exercise shall be completed expeditiously and in any event, not later than four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, be it from whatever source.
