HON'BLE SRI JUSTI CE A.RAMALI NGESWARA RAO Writ Petition No.6112 of 2018 Order:

This writ petition is filed challenging the proceedings dated 1.12.2011 of the second respondent directing the District Registrars of different districts, to instruct the Sub-Registrars concerned, to follow the interim injunction orders passed by the Hon'ble High Court of Madras in Contempt Petition No.1205 of 2010.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the issue raised in the present Writ Petitions is covered by a common order passed in Writ Petition No.4595 of 2015 and batch dated 4.3.2015. The said submission is not disputed by the learned Government Pleader. In view of the same, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the fourth respondent to accept the documents submitted by the petitioners for registration and consider the same in accordance with the provisions of the Registration Act, if the said documents fulfill the requirements of the Act and take necessary action in accordance with law. If for any reason, the documents cannot be registered, the fourth respondent shall make an endorsement to that effect as provided under Section 71 of the Registration Act. There shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel thereto, the miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
