THE HON'BLE THE ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE RAMESH RANGANATHAN AND THE HON'BLE SMT JUSTICE KONGARA VIJAYA LAKSHMI Writ Petition No.6084 of 2018 ORDER: {Per the Hon'ble the Acting Chief Justice Ramesh Ranganathan} Heard Sri K.Ramesh Babu, learned counsel for the petitioners, and Sri A.Abhishek Reddy, learned Standing Counsel for respondent No.1 and, with their consent, the Writ Petition is disposed of at the stage of admission.

After arguing for some time, Sri K.Ramesh Babu, learned counsel for the petitioners, would submit that, instead of adjudicating the petitioners' contentions on merits, it would suffice if the petitioners are permitted to submit a representation to the 1st respondent seeking approval for the 19 seats which they had filled up with non-minority students; and the 1st respondent is directed to consider their representation in accordance with law. Sri A. Abhishek Reddy, learned Standing Counsel, would fairly state that, while the 1st petitioner appears to have illegally admitted 19 students contrary to G.O.Ms.No.24 dated 24.08.2017, the petitioners' representation would be considered on its merits and in accordance with law.

We consider it appropriate, therefore, to permit the petitioners to submit a representation to the 1st respondent. In case any such representation is made within two weeks from today, the 1st respondent shall consider the same, and pass orders thereupon, in accordance with law, within four weeks from the date of receipt of the representation.

The Writ Petition stands disposed of accordingly.

Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall also stand disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
