Pursuant to recruitment notification No.9/2019 dated 31.07.2019 calling applications for direct recruitment to the post of Office Subordinate in the Telangana Judicial Ministerial Service, petitioner applied and participated in the computer based examination. The results of computer based examination were announced and further selection process was undertaken. This writ petition is filed contending that even though petitioner has secured more marks and qualified in the computer based examination, he was not called by respondents for further selection process.

On behalf of respondent No.3 a counter affidavit is filed. At page No.32 of the counter affidavit, the statement of marks secured by all the candidates who appeared for computer based examination is enclosed. On going through the said statement of marks, it is noticed that petitioner secured only 19 marks out of 80 marks. Thus, it is clear that he has not qualified the computer based examination. Therefore, respondents rightly did not call him for further selection process.

Having regard to the facts noted above, we do not see any error in the decision taken by respondents to not call the petitioner for further selection process. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed. _____________________ P.
