Singareni Collieries Sc, St Employees Welfare Association v. The State Of Telangana
THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION NO.7594 OF 2019 ORDER:
This Writ Petition is filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in not taking action on the complaint of the petitioner dated 06.02.2019, as illegal. Heard Sri Ch. Venkat Raman, counsel for petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for Services-II appearing for the respondents.
It has been contended by the petitioner that efforts are being made to merge the petitioner-association with the fifth respondent. Without consulting the petitioner, without taking the petitioner's objections into account and without giving opportunity to the petitioner, the third respondent is trying to merge the petitionerassociation with the fifth respondent-association. Therefore, the petitioner-association has submitted objections on 06.02.2019. Counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that let the third respondent consider the objections raised by the petitioner and pass appropriate orders after giving reasonable opportunity to the petitioner.
Learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the third respondent will look into the objections filed by the petitioner-association and pass appropriate orders by giving opportunity to the petitioner.
This Court, having considered the rival submissions of the parties, is of the considered view that this Writ Petition can be disposed of directing the respondents to examine the objections raised by the petitioner on 06.02.2019 and after giving opportunity
to the petitioner as well as the fifth respondent, pass appropriate orders within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
