SMT JUSTICE T.RAJANI CRIMINAL PETITON No.5564 OF 2013 ORDER:

This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C by the petitioners seeking to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.184 of 2010 (new C.C.No.17 of 2011) on the file of Judicial Magistrate of First Class, Medak, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 498-A, 494 read with 109 IPC.

Today when the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Public Prosecutor filed a Memo, dated 29.08.2018, stating that the police after completion investigation filed charge sheet before the Court below, which came to be numbered as C.C.No.184 of 2010 (new C.C.No.17 of 2011). The matter underwent trial and finally the Court below acquitted the petitioners for the said offences on 17.11.2017.

Hence, the cause in this Criminal Petition does not survive for further adjudication and that the petition has become infructuous and is consequently dismissed as infructuous. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this criminal petition shall stand closed.
