The grievance of the petitioner is that the mutation application, filed by him on 07.01.2019, seeking mutation of his name with respect to the property purchased by him through a registered sale deed dated 03.12.2018 is not being processed by the respondents. 2.

Learned standing counsel submits that the procedure for making application, as on date, is online and no physical application is to be entertained. He further submits that there is also a statutory fee that is payable.

Having regard to the respective submissions, there is no dispute that the petitioner has already made an application on 07.01.2019, which was also given inward No.3103 and as the respondents have failed to inform the petitioner that such application has to be made online, the formality of making online application need not be adhered to at this stage. However, as a matter of abundant caution, the petitioner shall also make an online application, which would be considered by the respondents and necessary orders be passed within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

The writ petition is disposed of. As a sequel, the miscellaneous applications, if any pending, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
