HON'BLE DR. JUSTICE B. SIVA SANKARA RAO Writ Petition No.6148 of 2018 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking the following relief:

".......to issue a writ or order more particularly one in the nature of writ of mandamus declaring the action of the 3rd respondent in seizing the petitioner vehicle i.e. Goods Carriage HMV TS 05 UA 5469 under check report No.226237, dt.19.02.2018 as illegal, arbitrary and without jurisdiction and consequential directions to the respondents to release the lorry Goods Carriage HMV TS 05 UA 5469 to the petitioner forthwith and pass such other order or orders."

2. Heard both sides and perused the prayer in the writ petition with supporting affidavit and the material on record.

3. Writ Petition is disposed of by giving liberty to the petitioner to approach the 2nd respondent with a representation to consider interim custody of the vehicle.

Consequently, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
