THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.7602 of 2016 ORDER:

The prayer of the petitioner in this case is as under: "For the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit, it is hereby prayed that this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to issue a Writ, Order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the 2nd respondent in not considering the application and not granting TFT licence in favour of the petitioner in the light of Cr.No.Spl/NKD/2015, dtd.12/02/2016 of the 3rd respondent as contrary to law, biased, unjust and arbitrary and direct the 2nd respondent to consider the application and grant TFT licence in favour of the petitioner in the light of Cr.No.Spl/NKD/2015, dtd.12/02/2016 of the 3rd respondent and grant all consequential reliefs and to pass such other order or orders as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit just and proper in the circumstances of the case."

Learned Government Pleader for Prohibition and Excise states that the petitioner's application is pending consideration before the Prohibition and Excise Superintendent, Sangareddy, Medak District, the 2nd respondent.

In that view of the matter, no purpose is served in entertaining this writ petition for adjudication on merits as it is for the authority concerned to apply its mind and take a decision. The writ petition is disposed of directing the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's application in accordance with law and take appropriate action thereon. In the event the petitioner's request for grant of a licence is rejected, the reasons therefor shall be recorded and duly communicated to the petitioner. This entire exercise shall be completed expeditiously and in any event, not later than four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
