Heard the counsel for petitioner. None appears for respondents. 2.
The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition challenging the action of respondents in not giving petitioner appointment order as Lecturer in Phonetics and Spoken English, though she was selected by a duly constituted committee.

On 20.11.2006 in WPMP.No.30801 of 2006, this Court passed the following order :
"The case of the petitioner is that pursuant to the notification issued by the respondent-University, she had applied to the post of Lecturer and was also selected by the selection committee.
It is stated that some of the candidates who were selected by the same selection committee were already issued appointment orders and they joined in service. However, the case of the petitioner is that she is not being allowed to join duty only on the ground that there was some communication from the first respondent."

The counsel for petitioner states that pursuant to the said order, the petitioner has been allowed to join duty. 5.
The counsel for petitioner sates that in view of the said interim order, no further orders are necessary.

No counter-affidavit is filed by the respondents in the matter. 7.
Having regard to the submissions of the counsel for petitioner, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous in the light of the interim order dt.20.11.2006 passed by this Court in WPMP.No.30801 of 2006. No order as to costs.

As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending if any in this Writ Petition, shall stand closed.
