THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P.KESHAVA RAO WRIT PETITION No.19140 OF 2013 ORDER:

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3. The prayer sought for in the writ petition is as under: "to issue a writ of mandamus declaring the action of the respondents especially 4th respondent in calling the petitioner to 3rd respondent Police Station at the instance of respondents 5 and 6 and interfering with civil disputes as illegal, irregular, arbitrary, unconstitutional, against the principles of natural justice and violative of fundamental rights guaranteed under Articles 14, 19, 21 and 300-A of Constitution of India and consequently, direct the respondents not to interfere in civil disputes and also not to harass the petitioner by calling him to 3rd respondent Police Station."

The 3rd respondent filed a counter affidavit stating that they never threatened the petitioner to withdraw the civil suit and that they never threatened with registration of cases under the provisions of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989. In the light of the said statement made in the counter affidavit, no further orders are required in the writ petition.

Accordingly, the writ petition is closed. No costs. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed. ___________________ P.KESHAVA RAO,J 06th NOVEMBER 2018.
