THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.SEETHARAMA MURTI WRIT PETITION No.21351 of 2014 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed questioning the action of the respondents 3 to 6 in disconnecting the electrical power supply to the houses of the petitioners mentioned in the writ petition as illegal and arbitrary and to direct the said respondents to restore the electrical power supply to the respective houses of the petitioners situated at NSP Camp Colony, Miryalaguda, Nalgonda District.

On 11.08.2014 this Court while admitting the writ petition granted interim direction to the respondents 3 to 6 to restore power supply to the houses of the respective petitioners subject to condition that petitioners shall pay regular electricity charges including arrears of charges, if any in respect of service connection Nos.Q.No.C/196/2, C/142/1, C/156, AEQC/1, C/168, C/159, H1-R1, NSP Camp Colony, and also arrears of rent.

Learned Government Pleader for Irrigation and Command Area Department, would submit that interim order passed by this Court is implemented by restoring the power supply.

On the earlier occasion learned counsel for the petitioners sought time to verify the present status and to report back to the Court. Today, when the matter is called, there is no representation on behalf of the writ petitioners.

In the result, the Writ Petition is dismissed for non-prosecution. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
