This writ petition is filed by the petitioners claiming that application to mutate the names of petitioners in the revenue records to an extent of Ac.412.3 guntas in Sy.Nos 73 to 101 of Bacharam Village, Abdullapurmet Mandal, R.R.District in Form 6A was filed, but the same is not acted upon. 02.

When the matter is taken-up learned Special Government Pleader represents that based on compromise between the parties, land belonging to the Government is sought to be knocked away. Therefore, the claim of the petitioners is not acceded to. This Court is not going into the said aspect, as I am not inclined to entertain the writ petition primarily on the ground that application in required form is not made and it is made as a representation, requesting Tahsildar to mutate the names of petitioners. As per the procedure evolved by the Government, application for mutation in the revenue records has to be made in Form 6-A and such application has to be submitted through on-line portal/through Mee-seva and no application in physical form is accepted. Therefore, it cannot be said that Tahsildar is negligent in acting on the application for mutation as sought to be contended.

03. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed leaving it open to the petitioners to file appropriate application as required. Pending miscellaneous petitions shall stand closed.
