THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION No.33928 of 2015 ORDER:
Heard learned Counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the respondents.
Aggrieved by the action of the respondents in demanding additional consumption deposit from the petitioner, the present writ petition is filed. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents that the subject matter of this writ petition is squarely covered by a common order of this Court in W.P.No.37713 of 2014 and
batch dated 26.08.2015. In the said order, it was directed that the petitioners shall pay half of the additional consumption deposit amount demanded by the respondents. But, in the instant case, the petitioner paid more than half of the additional consumption deposit i.e. Rs.13,62,900/- before 31.05.2015. The said amount has to be adjusted in the future consumption charges. In the circumstances, this writ petition is also disposed of in accordance with and in terms of the order in W.P.No.37713 of 2014 and batch dated 26.08.2015 with a further direction to the respondents to adjust the amount over and above 50% of the additional consumption deposit paid by the petitioner, in the future consumption charges of the petitioner.
