There is no representation on behalf of the petitioners. 2.

The prayer sought in the writ petition is as under: "...the Hon'ble Court may be pleased to issue a Writ, Order or Direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus directing the Respondent No.1 herein to direct the Respondent Nos.3 & 4 herein to provide Police protection to the Petitioners and their family members as they are having life threat from the Respondent Nos.5 to 8 as being illegal, arbitrary, unconstitutional and in violation of Articles 14 and 21 of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the Respondent Nos.3 and 4 to provide police protection to the Petitioner and her family members and pass such other order, or orders as are deemed fit and proper in the circumstances of the case."

The learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 4 placed on record written instructions dated 19.11.2019 issued by the Assistant Sub-Inspector of Police, Kalwakurthy Police Station, Nagarkurnool District.

From a perusal of the said written instructions, it is revealed that basing on the complaint lodged by the petitioner No.3, a case in Cr.No.192 of 2009 for the offence under Sections 427 and 447 of the Indian Penal Code was registered on the file of the Kalwakurthy Police Station on 21.08.2009.

During the course of investigation, the witnesses were examined and their detailed statements were recorded. After completion of investigation, charge sheet was filed before the Judicial Magistrate of First Class, Kalwakurthy and the same was numbered as C.C.No.500 of 2009. After trial, the case ended in conviction on 16.02.2017.

In that view of the matter, this Court is of the opinion that no further cause would survive in the writ petition and the same is liable to be dismissed.

Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed. As a sequel thereto, pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
