THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION NO.17621 OF 2013 AND CONTEMPT CASE NO.2139 OF 2013 COMMON ORDER:

The writ petition and contempt case are being taken up together as the contempt case arises out of the interim order.

2. The writ petition is filed challenging the action of the respondent in not considering the case of the petitioner for appointment to the post of conductor or in any suitable post on compassionate ground in pursuance of G.O.Ms.No.2, dated 05-01-2013.

3. This Court, vide order, dated 21-06-2013 directed the respondent to consider the case of the petitioner for appointment on compassionate/bread winners scheme for interviewing him along with others on 24-06-2013 or on any other subsequent day to which such interviews are slated.

4. When the writ petition along with contempt case are taken up for consideration, learned counsel for the respondent produced before this Court a copy of order, dated 19-11-2013 passed by the Regional Manager, Krishna Region, Vijayawada rejecting the case of the petitioner for consideration to the post of conductor under Bread Winner Scheme. He also produced a copy of the order, dated 18-06-2016 rejecting the representation of the petitioner seeking relaxation of age for the post of RTC constable.

5. In view of the same, both the writ petition and the contempt case are closed giving liberty to the petitioner to take appropriate proceedings in accordance with law, if the petitioner is aggrieved. No order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending shall stand closed.
