O R D E R

The grievance of the petitioner was that the Station House Officer, Yerpedu Police Station, Tirupati Urban, Chittoor District, the third respondent, did not register a crime against the fourth respondent basing upon the complaint made by him and several others but registered a crime on the basis of a complaint lodged by the fourth respondent as Crime No.98 of 2015 on the file of Yerpedu Police Station, Tirupati Urban, Chittoor District.

The main grievance of the petitioner, as culled out from the prayer, is with regard to the failure on the part of the third respondent in registering a crime based on the complaint made by him. The Inspector of Police, Renigunta Rural Circle Urban Police District, Tirupati, filed a counter-affidavit stating that upon the complaint made by the petitioner against the fourth respondent, Crime No.101 of 2015 has been registered on the file of Yerpedu Police Station, Tirupati Urban, Chittoor District, under Sections 323 and 341 IPC and the case is under investigation.

The grievance of the petitioner in this regard therefore stands settled. The writ petition is accordingly closed. Pending miscellaneous petitions shall also stand closed in the light of this final order. No order as to costs.
