Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri R.Vinod Reddy, learned Standing Counsel for the respondent Corporation.

According to the petitioner, he is the owner of premises bearing No.9-3-58/B/10/A in survey No.193, situated at Company Bagh Road, Second Lancer, Golconda, Hyderabad, having acquired the same by way of Registered Sale Deed bearing document No.566 of 1999, dated 06.02.1999, executed by VI Senior Civil Judge, City Civil Court, Hyderabad, on behalf of the vendor Sri Javeed Iqbal and Mirza Hameed Baig, as per the Judgment and decree rendered in Original Suit No.2723 of 1998, which was filed for Specific Performance of Contract of Sale. 3.

According to the petitioner, he approached the respondents herein for the first time on 08.02.2017 and thereafter also number of times requesting for providing domestic electricity connection, but all his efforts yielded no results. It is stated in the affidavit filed in support of the petition, that the petitioner herein approached the 2nd respondent with an application in triplicate, for providing domestic electricity supply and requested him to inform what are the charges to be paid by way of challan, but, quiet surprisingly, the 2nd respondent refused to receive the application stating that there is no proper title to the petitioner herein over the subject property.

Today, when the matter is taken up, it is submitted by learned Standing Counsel for respondent Corporation that if the petitioner herein makes an application afresh enclosing all the relevant documents, the same will be processed in accordance with law.

Recording the said submissions, the Writ Petition is disposed of, keeping it open for the petitioner herein to submit an application for domestic service connection for premises bearing No.9-3-58/B/10/A in survey No.193, situated at Company Bagh Road, Second Lancer, Golconda, Hyderabad, enclosing all the relevant documents and if any such application is made by the petitioner, it is open for the respondents herein to verify the same and shall take appropriate action in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible.
