Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for Home (TG) appearing for the respondents. 2.

When the matter is taken up, written instructions, dated 26.02.2018, furnished by the Assistant Sub-Inspector of Police, Gachibowli Police Station are placed on record by the learned Government Pleader for Home. The said instructions to the extent of their relevance to the present writ petition read as under:- "It is pertinent to submit that the averments made in the affidavit are the subject matter of investigation in Cr.No.749/2017 for which a detailed investigation is under progress. Prima facie case is yet to be established against the accused in the FIR. Depending on the evidence adduced during the course of investigation into the case, necessary steps will be taken against the concerned accused.

To complete the full-fledged investigation into the case, it requires some more time to the investigating agency. I assure to this Hon'ble Court that the investigation will be completed as expeditiously as possible and appropriate report U/sec.173 Cr.P.C. will be filed concerned Hon'ble Court at the earliest." 3.

On noticing the same, a request is made by the learned counsel for the petitioner to place the said instructions on record and dispose of the writ petition with a direction to the respondent police to complete the investigation as expeditiously as possible. 4.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of, by placing on record the written instructions, dated 26.02.2018, furnished by the Assistant Sub-Inspector of Police, Gachibowli Police Station with a

further direction to the respondent police authorities to complete the investigation as expeditiously as possible. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
