THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE VILAS V. AFZULPURKAR WRIT PETITION No.37504 OF 2015 ORDER:

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Revenue.

The petitioner has filed three representations, dated 19.12.2014, 21.09.2015 and 15.10.2015, before the respondents seeking mutation of his name in the revenue records on the basis of an unregistered Will with respect to land admeasuring Acs.4.00 guntas in Survey Nos.236 and 237 of Srinagar Village, Maheshwaram Mandal, Ranga Reddy District. Alleging that no action is taken by the respondents, the present Writ Petition is filed.

It is, however, evident from the record that no application has been made by the petitioner in accordance with the Rules prescribed under the Andhra Pradesh Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 1971. Hence, no relief as sought for by the petitioner can be granted.

The Writ Petition is accordingly dismissed giving liberty to the petitioner to make appropriate application in accordance with the Rules before the Tahsildar, Maheshwaram Mandal, Ranga Reddy District, the 4th respondent. As and when such an application is made, the 4th respondent shall conduct due enquiry and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law expeditiously. There shall be no order as to costs.
