THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE P. KESHAVA RAO WRIT PETITION No.21339 of 2011 ORDER:

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Standing Counsel for the 1st respondent.

The prayer sought in the writ petition is as under:- "....to issue an appropriate writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of Mandamus declaring action of the respondents No.1 and 2 in not conducting the Ethics Committee Meeting in Case No.7 of 2007 which is pending before the Medical Board against the 8th respondent as illegal, arbitrary, contrary to law, in violation of Medical jurisprudence and in violation of Article 14 of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the respondent No.3 to reinvestigate the Crime No.310 of 2010 of P.S. Balanagar, forthwith and pass such other order or orders as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case." 3.

Learned Standing Counsel appearing for the 1st respondentTelangana Medical Council placed on record a letter bearing No.APMC/DC/015/Case No.07/2011, dated 11.10.2012. A perusal of the said letter would indicate that the Ethics Committee Meeting was conducted and a decision was taken by the General Body of the then APMC, warning the petitioner not to issue PME Certificate in her individual capacity without the signature of the HOD of the Forensic Department.

Thus, since the decision is already taken against the petitioner and final orders are also passed, this Court is of the opinion that no further cause would survive in the writ petition. Accordingly, the writ petition is closed.

As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
