THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION No. 8224 of 2017 ORDER:
This writ petition was filed challenging the action of respondent Nos.2 and 3 in not registering a crime in spite of the complaints, dated 18.02.2017 and 25.02.2017, lodged by the petitioner against respondent Nos.4 and 5.
Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, learned Government Pleader for Home, on the basis of written instructions, submits that on the complaints lodged by the petitioner, a case in Crime No.225 of 2017 was registered on 15.03.2017 for the offences punishable under Sections 447 and 506 I.P.C. and Section 3 (1) (s) of the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act.
In view of the above, no further orders are necessary in the present writ petition.
The writ petition is accordingly closed. However, respondent No.3 is directed to continue the investigation in the said crime.
