THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION No. 10584 of 2017 ORDER:

This writ petition was filed challenging the action of respondent No. 3-Station House Officer, Women Police Station, Guntur Urban, Guntur District in not registering a crime in spite of the complaint, dated 16.02.2017, lodged by the petitioner. Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, learned Government Pleader for Home, on the basis of written instructions, submits that on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, a case in Crime No.35 of 2017 was registered on 28.03.2017 for the offences punishable under Sections 498-A and 506 I.P.C. and Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

In view of the above, no further orders are necessary in the present writ petition.

The writ petition is accordingly closed.
