Heard counsel for the petitioner, the Government Pleader for Excise appearing for respondents 1 to 5, and the Government Pleader for Cooperation for the impleaded 6th respondent.

Petitioner's grievance is that the term of the Managing Committee of the petitioner has expired in 2012 and that subsequent there to no elections have been held for the Toddy Tappers Cooperative Society, Painampally Village, Nelakondapally Mandal, Khammam District.

Since the 6th respondent is the competent authority to conduct elections to the cooperative societies in the State, petitioner is directed to make an application to the 6th respondent to conduct elections to the Toddy Tappers Cooperative Society within a period of three (03) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order; the 6th respondent is directed to consider the said representation of the petitioner within two (02) months thereafter and communicate its decision to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.

Consequently, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand dismissed.
