All these writ petitions are filed by the petitioners against the provisional assessment notices issued under Section 135 of the Electricity Act, 2003 (for short "the Act") on the ground that they have committed theft of energy. In all these matters interim orders were granted at the time of admission of writ petitions subject to payment of certain amounts except in WP.No.6327 of 2018, wherein this Court granted interim direction without any condition. Sri R.Vinod Reddy, learned Standing Counsel appearing for respondents, submits that in similar circumstances, this Court disposed of WP.No.12174 of 2019, by its order dated 19-06-2019.

In view of the same, these writ petitions are also disposed of directing the competent authority to decide the amount under Section 154(5) of the Act. Till the amount is determined under Section 154(5) of the Act, the interim orders granted earlier by this Court shall continue. No order as to costs.
