Heard.

The petitioner's vehicle bearing No.AP-27-U-8388 was seized by the 3rd respondent on the ground of non-production of proof of payment of tax for the quarter ending 31-12-2014, Certificate of Registration, Driving Licence, Fitness Certificate etc. The petitioner, however, made an application before the Secretary, Regional Transport Authority, Kakinada, on 10-12-2014 for release of his vehicle and the same is pending.

In view of that, without any further loss of time, the Secretary, Regional Transport Authority, Kakinada, is directed to consider the aforesaid application of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders thereon within three days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The releasing authority is at liberty to impose conditions, as it deems appropriate.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.

The miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
