Petitioner claims to be the owner and possessor of agricultural land to an extent of Ac.1-25 guntas in Sy.No.237 situated at Habsipur Village of Dubbak Mandal, Siddipet District. Petitioner claims that he succeeded to the above property and as legal heir, he applied for mutation of his name in the revenuer records by filling Form 6-A on 11-03-2018. Petitioner contends that he has followed it up with complaint in Prajavani redressal mechanism and issued legal notice. But his application is not acted upon and revenue records are not corrected.

02. However, learned Government Pleader submits that application for mutation is not accepted in physical form and it is to be applied by filling-up in Form 6-A through Meeseva/Eeseva. Apparently petitioner has not submitted such application. Though respondents could have informed the same to petitioner, merely because no information was furnished, it cannot be said that respondents are negligent in taking-up the application, when petitioner has not submitted application in proper format as required. As such, no relief sought for can be granted.

03. Leaving it open to the petitioner to file application in Form 6-A through meeseva/Ee-seva, this writ petition is disposed of. If such application is made, the same shall be considered and appropriate decision be made and communicate the decision to the petitioner within a period of six weeks from the date of such

- 3 - application. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
