THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI W.P.Nos.9063 and 9064 of 2003 COMMON ORDER Since the issue raised in both these writ petitions is one and the same, they are being disposed of by this common order. 2.
The writ petitions are filed seeking a writ of mandamus to declare the action of the respondents in not regularizing the services of petitioners as Lecturers in Osmania University, as illegal and arbitrary.

The petitioners were appointed as Lecturers in the University of the respondents after undergoing regular selection process. The main grievance of the petitioners is that though they have put in long years of service, the respondents are not considering their case for regularization.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that this Court was pleased to grant interim direction on 06.05.2003 directing the respondents to continue the petitioners in service and the petitioners are now continuing in service. He further submits that appropriate orders be issued to the respondents to consider the case of petitioners for regularization and to pay regular pay scale attached to the post of Lecturer.

This Court, having considered the submissions, is of the view that if the petitioners are continuing as Lecturers in the University of
AKS, J W.P.Nos.9063 and 9064 of 2003 the respondents as on today, the respondents shall consider their case for regularization, if not already done, in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, both the Writ Petitions are disposed of. No order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in both these writ petitions, shall stand closed. __________________________ ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI, J 20th November, 2018 sj
