Heard.

The petitioners seek issuance of pattadar passbooks and title deeds in respect of the lands, as set out in the prayer of the writ petition, and accordingly, they made an application to the 2nd respondent on 11-04-2015. Alleging inaction, the present writ petition is filed.

In the instant case, the petitioners have not made requisite application under Form 6-A of A.P.Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 1971 read with Rule 18 of A.P.Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Rules, 1989, seeking issuance of pattadar pass books and title deeds. Unless appropriate application in the prescribed proforma is filed by the petitioners, the competent authority will not be in a position to entertain the said request of the petitioners. Hence, the writ petition is disposed of giving liberty to the petitioners to make appropriate application in accordance with the aforesaid Act and the Rules and if any such application is filed, the competent authority shall consider the same on its own merits and take appropriate decision expeditiously. No order as to costs. The miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
