Heard counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for Home appearing for respondents.

Petitioner's grievance is that no FIR has been registered on the basis of a report given dt.25.07.2016 given by the petitioner to the 4th respondent alleging assault on the petitioner by certain persons named in the said report.

The Government Pleader for Home appearing for respondents states that Crime No.589 of 2016 under Section 324 and 506 read with 34 IPC was registered by the 4th respondent on 26.08.2016 and investigation was taken up, and prior thereto an entry was made in the station General Diary.

Therefore, the petitioner is directed to approach the 4th respondent to secure copy of the FIR referred to above, and if the petitioner approaches the 4th respondent, he shall issue copy of the FIR to the petitioner. The 4th respondent shall conduct investigation into the allegations made by the petitioner and file a final report before the competent Court in accordance with law within a reasonable time.

The Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. There shall be no order as to costs.

Consequently, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand dismissed.
