THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P. NAVEEN RAO WRIT PETITION No.4638 of 2017 ORDER:

The petitioner was placed under suspension on the ground that a trap was laid by the Anti Corruption Bureau and he was arrested and sent for interim custody.

I do not see any illegality in the order of suspension warranting interference by this Court, as the order of suspension is made on 11.08.2016 on the allegation of involvement of a criminal case. Depending on the progress in the investigation of the case, it is for the competent authority to consider as to whether the petitioner can be continued under suspension. No direction as sought for by the petitioner can be granted to him, at this stage. 3.

The Writ Petition is, accordingly, dismissed. However, it is open to the petitioner to pursue his application for revocation of suspension. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
