This Criminal Petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is filed to quash the Order of extension in Crl.M.P.No.384 of 2017 on the file of Special Judge-cum-Principle District Judge, Ongole.

After arguing the matter for a while, Sri Shaik Karimulla, learned counsel for the petitioners/ A.11 and 13, requested this Court to direct the concerned to follow the procedure contemplated under Section 41-A Cr.P.C., and the guidelines issued by the Apex Court in Ar n esh Ku m ar v. St at e of Bih ar an d an ot h er 1 In view of the request made by the learned Counsel for the petitioners, the Police of Kandukur Town Police Station, Prakasam District, are directed to follow the procedure contemplated under Section 41-A Cr.P.C., and the guidelines laid down by the Supreme Court in Ar n esh Ku m ar v. St at e of Bih ar an d an ot h er . With the above direction, this Criminal Petition is disposed of. As a sequel, miscellaneous applications pending, if any, shall stand closed.
