THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM Writ Petition No.11153 of 2015 ORDER:

The grievance of the petitioner is that respondent Nos.1 and 2 are not disposing of the representation, dated 11.03.2015, submitted by him, with respect to the affairs of the 3rd respondent - club.

Heard Sri Srinivasa Murthy Cheedella, learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Government Pleader for Sports for respondent Nos.1 and 2 and Sri Hari Sridhar, learned counsel appearing for the 3rd respondent.

Learned counsel for the 3rd respondent submits that there are many cases pending before this Court vis-à-vis the 3rd respondent-club. He also submits that Article 61 of the Memorandum & Articles of Association of the 3rd respondent - club, prima facie, confers power on the 2nd respondent to discharge the functions of the 3rd respondent, till the formation of the Governing Council, and on account of various cases pending, the issues are required to be addressed in a comprehensive manner, and therefore, he sought for grant of reasonable time for disposing of the representation.

In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel for the 3rd respondent, without going into the controversy with regard to bye-laws, the 2nd respondent is directed to consider the representation, dated 11.03.2015, submitted by the petitioner, and pass appropriate orders thereon in accordance with law within a period of six (6) weeks from today.

The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

The miscellaneous petitions filed in this writ petition shall also stand disposed of.
