HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No. 9919 of 2015 ORDER:

Heard learned Counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for the respondents.

The principal complaint of the petitioner in the present Writ petition is that the first respondent is not passing any orders on his appeal preferred on 02.12.2014.

It is submitted that against the order of the first respondent dated 15.11.2014 in cancelling the caste certificate, the petitioner preferred an appeal under Section 7(4) of AP (SC.ST. & BC) Regulation of Issue of Community Certificates Act, 1993, before the first respondent. Along with the said appeal, the petitioner also filed an interlocutory application seeking stay of all further proceedings pursuant to the order dated 15.11.2014. However, no orders have been passed by the first respondent either on the appeal or stay application filed thereon till date.

Having heard the learned Counsel on either side and gone through the material on record, I deem it appropriate to dispose of the Writ Petition directing the first respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders, in accordance with law, either on the main appeal or interlocutory application filed thereon, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Subject to the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. Miscellaneous petitions pending consideration if any in the Writ Petition shall stand closed in consequence. No order as to costs.
