This writ petition is filed with the following prayer: "...to issue a writ or orders or direction, more in the nature of "Writ of Mandamus", questioning the inaction of the Respondents No 2 to 5 in not considering the complaint and evidences submitted by the petitioner No.1 before the Respondents No.2 to 5 dated 28.10.2014 and in view of the above circumstances it is prayed that this Hon'ble Court may please to direct the Respondents No.5 to conduct proper investigation in the matter by recording all the statements of the witnesses that was provided by the petitioners herein i.e. the Complainant in the case as early as possible and complete the investigation at the earliest and file the charge sheet and pass such other order or orders as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case an in the interest of justice."
Counter affidavit is filed stating that notices were issued in the year 2016 and because of change of investigation officers, investigation could not be proceeded. But however, learned Government Pleader for Home submits that within a period of four weeks, investigation will be completed and necessary action will be taken.
In view of the same, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondents to complete the investigation and take action in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. As a sequel to the disposal of this writ petition, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
