Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for respondents. With their consent, the present writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage.

The present writ petition came to be filed with the following prayer:
"to issue an appropriate Writ, Order or Direction, more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus, to declare the inaction of the 3rd respondent in taking steps to make corrections in respect of the extent and name of the petitioner No.2 in the revenue records in respect of the land admeasuring Ac.1.26 Gts., and Ac.0.16 Gts., in Sy.No.426 and land admeasuring Ac.1.24 Gts., in Sy.No.427 situated at Odela Village and Mandal, Karimnagar District in spite of the written representation dt. 11-07-2016 followed by repeated visits, as being illegal, arbitrary and unjust and consequently direct the 3rd respondent to verify the records and to make necessary corrections in pursuance of the representations dt.11-07-2016."

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that though they made an application on 11.07.2016, till date respondents are not taking steps to mutate the name of the 2nd petitioner in revenue records in respect of the land mentioned above.

Learned Government Pleader for Revenue submits that question of considering the request made by the petitioners will not arise mere basing on the representation made since the petitioners have to make an application through online in a particular form. 5.
Having regard to the submissions made, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the petitioners to make a fresh online application in Form 6-A seeking mutation of name of the 2nd petitioner in respect of the land admeasuring Ac.1.26 Gts., and Ac.0.16 Gts., in Sy.No.426 and land admeasuring Ac.1.24 Gts., in Sy.No.427 situated at Odela Village and Mandal, Karimnagar District, within a week from today, in which event the same shall be considered within a period of four (04) weeks thereafter, in accordance with law.
