M. Rosi Reddy v. The State Of Andhra Pradesh
THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTI CE SANJAY KUMAR AND THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTI CE GUDI SEVA SHYAM PRASAD WRI T PETI TI ON No. 32974 of 2016 ORDER: (per Hon'ble Sri Justice Sanjay Kumar) Sri S. Satyam Reddy, learned senior counsel appearing for the petitioner, states that after the dismissal of O.A.No.6723 of 2014, the petitioner joined duty at the place to which his services were transferred. He therefore submits that the cause no longer survives for consideration insofar as the validity of the transfer order is concerned. Learned counsel further submits that notwithstanding the compliance with the transfer order, the petitioner may be permitted to make a representation citing the reasons as to why he seeks to be retained at the earlier location so that the authorities concerned may sympathetically consider the same.
The writ petition is accordingly dismissed leaving it open to the petitioner to make a representation as aforestated. In the event such a representation is made, the authorities may consider the same in accordance with law expeditiously and, in any event, not later than one month from the date of receipt of a copy of such representation. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand dismissed. No order as to costs.
