When the matter is taken up for hearing, Ms.Kalpana, learned counsel representing Sri G.V.Shivaji, learned counsel for the petitioner, submits that the cause in the writ petition does not survive for adjudication. She also made an endorsement on the petition to that effect.

In view of the said submission, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
