THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No. 24250 OF 2017 O R D E R:

The grievance in this Writ Petition is that the report of the petitioner dated 22.06.2017 against the 4th respondent has not been registered by Respondents 2 and 3 - Superintendent of Police, East Godavari District and Station House Officer, Port Police Station, Kakinada, so far.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.

Learned Government Pleader for Home (Andhra Pradesh) submits that the complaint of the petitioner has been registered as a case in Crime No. 79 of 2017 on the file of Kakinada Port Police Station on 09.08.2017 for the offences punishable under Sections 447, 427 and 379 of the Indian Penal Code against the 4th respondent and investigation has been taken up into the said crime. She has placed on record a copy of the FIR. In the light of the submissions made by the learned Government Pleader for Home, the Writ Petition is closed. No costs.

Consequently, the miscellaneous Applications, if any shall stand closed.
