THE HON'BLE THE ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE RAMESH RANGANATHAN AND THE HON'BLE Dr. JUSTICE SHAMEEM AKTHER Writ Petition Nos.26707, 2730 and 26112 of 2015 Common Order: (Per the Hon'ble The Acting Chief Justice Ramesh Ranganathan) Sri Jogram Tejavath, learned counsel for the petitioners, would submit that, in view of the proceedings of the Collector and District Magistrate, Srikakulam dated 27.1.2017 cancelling the Scheduled Tribe Certificate issued in favour of the unofficial respondent-Sri Bisai Chandra Mohan, the cause in the writ petitions do not survive and the writ petitions have become infructuous.

While Sri N.V. Anantha Krishna, learned counsel for the unofficial respondent, would contend that the order of the District Collector is illegal, the validity of the said order dated 27.01.2017 cannot be examined in the present writ proceedings and the remedy of the unofficial respondent is to question the same in independent legal proceedings. Leaving it open to him to do so and, as the cause in these writ petitions do not survive, all the three writ petitions are closed. Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, shall also stand closed.
