.....Respondents The Court made the following:

HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE P.NAVEEN RAO ORDER:

Petitioners claim that they are resident of Kalwakuntla Village in Nalgonda district. Petitioners claim that dry agricultural land, admeasuring Ac.3.00 acres and Ac.2.00 acres, petitioners 1 and 2, respectively, in Sy.Nos.218 of Kalwakuntla village, is under their possession and enjoyment and they have been eking out their livelihood by doing coolie work apart from cultivating the above land, depending on the rain fall for the last 40 years. It is further averred that the land was full of rock boulders; that they were removed by working hard day and night and also invested huge amount. Petitioners now allege that 3rd respondent - Mandal Revenue Officer, threatened to dispossess them from the lands and on 13.07.2017, the 3rd respondent and his staff proclaimed in the village that they would vacate the petitioners from the said land. Hence, this writ petition.

2.

No material is filed in proof of the contention of the petitioners that they are in possession of the subject land. It is not in dispute, learned counsel for petitioner fairly submits, that the land is Government land.

3.

On a bare perusal of the photographs enclosed to the writ affidavit, it cannot be said that the land has been put to use by petitioners. Be that at it may, the land belongs to the Government and no proof is filed to show that they are in possession and enjoyment of the property. I see no merit in the writ petition and is accordingly dismissed.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs. ___________________________ JUSTICE P.NAVEEN RAO Date: 01.08.2017 kkm
