The Cooperative Electric Supply Society Limited issued recruitment Notification No.1 of 2018 calling applications for the post of Assistant Engineer (Electrical) on contract basis. One of the conditions in the said notification to submit application is, the person should not have arrears of electricity bills as on 01.01.2018.

Apprehending that the application of the petitioner would not be accepted on the ground that computerized bills show that he has not paid the arrears, this Writ Petition is filed. 4.

When the matter is taken up for consideration, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has submitted his application and the same is accepted by the authorities concerned.

Recording the said submission, the Writ Petition is dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, filed in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
