HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY WRIT PETITON No.26258 of 2017 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed challenging the Note-(1) of Regulation (6)(b) of APSEB Service Regulations Part-III as adopted by Transco and subsequently by TSNPDCL insofar as providing 1:3:1 ratio in the matter of filling up posts of Assistant Divisional Engineers and further violating the said ratio by according more promotions to one feeder category viz., Assistant Engineers only without reference to the cadre strength as illegal and arbitrary. Though Regulations are challenged, when learned Standing Counsel produced a copy of order dated 09-08-2017 passed by Division Bench of this Court in WP.No.26286 of 2017 in similar circumstances, learned counsel for the petitioner says that this writ petition can be disposed of in terms of said order.

In view of the same, following the same, this writ petition is disposed of in terms of order dated 09-08-2017 in WP.No.26286 of 2017. As a sequel to the disposal of this petition, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
